High school diploma/GED and two years of relevant scientific experience or education.

About the Job

Job duties:
Research responsibilities (60%):
• Assist senior scientists to perform molecular, cellular, and viral assays
• Assist senior scientists to perform animal experiments
• Participate in lab meetings
• Weekly report of research progress to lab director/supervisor(s)

Record keeping (5%)
• Keep complete and updated animal records and lab notes

Lab maintenance (35%):
• Clean and sterilize lab glassware and plastics
• Sterilize and properly dispose of discarded research materials
• Help maintain a clean and functional laboratory

Salary Range: $15.45 to $21.29 USD/hour
