Position Description
Job Summary
As a member of the Human Resources team, this position is responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating assigned program responsibilities; conduct research, analyze, and prepare reports. Additionally, this role will be responsible for recommending and implementing workflows and processes to support our goal of maintaining high efficiency and reliability within the department.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Essential and other responsibilities and duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:
Administration and coordination of human resources programs and practices within the organization.Analysis on confidential Human Resources information, compensation data and benefits for internal analysis.Assists HR Director in obtaining statistics and information in renewal process for the Company's health and welfare plans.Maintains employee benefits filing system and ensures benefits changes are entered appropriately into the HRIS system.Assists HR Director in completing benefit reporting requirements.Ensures accurate, timely processing of benefit plan enrollments, eligibility-related notifications, invoice reconciliation and remittance, and related payroll deductions, and status changes.Maintains HR information while concurrently facilitating efficient operations to meet current and future business needs as it pertains to HRIS functionality expansion and HR process improvement. Performs on-going audits to ensure data integrity.Assists in maintaining positive employee relations climate and work environment.Assists in employee communication efforts.Assists to establish departmental measurements that support the accomplishments of the Company's strategic goals. Analyzes problems, identify solutions, consequences of proposed actions and implement recommendations in support of department objectives.Monitors vendors associated with related program administration including monitoring contract. service providers to ensure compliance with contract provisions.Assists with compliance of labor and employment law.Coordinates and manages special projects.Maintains employee related files.Interfaces with the Accounting Department to ensure documents and system feeds are processed accurately and timely.Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience
Bachelor of Administration or equivalent experience with a minimum of five years of human resource experience that includes a substantial knowledge of state and federal regulations, documentation compliance policies, processing confidential HR information, and maintaining electronic and hard copy files.Demonstrates ability to perform tasks and responsibilities using good judgement.Demonstrates ability to treat confidential matters with appropriate discretion.Exposure to employment law and policiesStrong ability to multi-task, is flexible, and extremely organized.Ability to build rapport at all levels and deliver commitments for win-win collaboration.Excellent communication skills, both written, and verbal.Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
