Position Summary:
The HR Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of human resources practices and processes within our aerospace manufacturing facility(s). This role ensures the proper implementation of company policies and strategic HR initiatives while supporting a high-performance culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, safety, and goal attainment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention of skilled manufacturing and engineering talent.Partner with leadership to drive organizational development, employee engagement, and succession planning.Administer and ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and legal regulations (e.g., EEO, OSHA, FMLA, FLSA, ITAR).Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary procedures.Manage performance management and employee development programs.Collaborate with safety, quality, and operations teams to support compliance and a culture of continuous improvement.Coordinate training programs and cross-functional skill development to meet aerospace industry standards.Maintain HR metrics, reports, and audits; use data to support decision-making.Oversee compensation, benefits, and payroll processes in partnership with corporate HR and finance.Serve as a change agent during organizational and system changes, including HRIS implementation or upgrades.
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.Strong knowledge of federal and state labor laws and HR compliance.Proven ability to manage HR functions in a high-regulation industry (e.g., ITAR, AS9100).Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP certification.Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
