ATA Services, Inc. is hiring a temporary Entry Level HR Generalist to join our HR team. Essential duties include recruiting, developing client relationships and new employee on-boarding. As an entry-level generalist, you will be a point of contact for ATA employees who have questions.
Pay Rate: $20 per hour with weekly paySchedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am - 5:00pm Location: NW Albuquerque
Essential Functions - Recruiting:
Collaborate with recruiting team and Hiring Managers for writing job advertisements for open roles.Advertise job ads on job boards, careers pages and social media channels.Answering the queries of candidates related to the hiring process.Updating job descriptions, such as adding tasks or modifying requirementsDetermining requirements and qualification criteriaEvaluating candidates based on their assignment and interview performance.Screening applications/resumes and updating candidates on the hiring processes.Working with clients to determine interviewing and hiring procedures.Initiate and coordinate onboarding of new hires.Prepare candidate offer letters, complete reference and back-ground checks.Reporting on the status of open jobs.
Essential Functions - Human Resources:
Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.Maintaining physical and digital files for employees and their documents, benefits and attendance recordsAnswering employee questions about HR issues, or directing them to the correct person within the company to get correct informationPerform other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of administrative/Human Resources tasks and responsibilitiesPrevious ADP software experience a plus!Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational skillsAdvanced computer skills, including data entry, data processing, communication tools and payroll and human resources software.Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinkingLeadership and coaching skillsStrong empathy and interpersonal skillsMust be able to work with a diverse group of peopleDetail-oriented with excellent organizational skillsAttention to detail and analytically driven.
Job Requirements:

Associates degree and at least 3 years experience in a professional environment.
